Refund and Cancellation Policy
1 This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to all ticket purchases made for Grassroots Global’s Mega Event, organised by Arsh Educational Development Pvt Ltd under the brand Grassroots Global Early Years.
1.1 Refund Conditions
Refunds will be issued only in the following circumstance:
- The Event is cancelled in full by the Organiser.
- If Arsh Educational Development Pvt Ltd cancels Grassroots Global’s Mega Event entirely, all registered ticket holders will receive a full refund of the ticket amount paid.
- No refunds will be issued for any other reason, including but not limited to:
- Personal inability to attend
- Change of plans
- Travel or logistical difficulties
- Partial dissatisfaction with the Event programme
- Postponement or rescheduling of the Event to a new date
1.2 Non-Refundable Situations
The following situations do not qualify for a refund:
- Attendee chooses not to attend after purchasing a ticket
- Attendee arrives late or misses part of the Event
- Specific activities or segments within the Event are modified or cancelled while the Event otherwise proceeds
- The Event is postponed or rescheduled (tickets remain valid for the new date)
- Entry is refused due to misconduct
1.3 Refund Timeframe
In the case of an Organiser-initiated cancellation, refunds will be processed within 7 to 10 working days from the date of the cancellation announcement, to the original payment method used at the time of purchase.
- UPI payments will be refunded to the originating UPI account
- Card payments will be refunded to the originating card
- Net banking payments will be refunded to the originating bank account
- Processing time may vary slightly depending on your bank or payment provider.
1.4 Cancellation Process
For attendees: There is no cancellation option available for individual ticket holders once a purchase is completed. All sales are final.
In case of Organiser cancellation: All registered attendees will be notified via email at the address provided during registration. Refunds will be initiated automatically — no separate claim or request needs to be filed by the attendee.
1.5 Postponement and Rescheduling
If the Event is postponed or moved to a new date:
- All purchased tickets will automatically remain valid for the rescheduled date
- Attendees will be notified of the new date via email
- Refunds will not be issued for rescheduled events
- If an attendee is genuinely unable to attend on the rescheduled date, they may write to us and the matter will be reviewed at the Organiser’s discretion on a case-by-case basis
2. Force Majeure
Arsh Educational Development Pvt Ltd, operating under the brand Grassroots Global Early Years, shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations in connection with Grassroots Global’s Mega Event where such failure or delay arises from causes beyond the Organiser’s reasonable control (“Force Majeure Event”).
Force Majeure Events include but are not limited to:
Natural disasters such as floods, earthquakes, cyclones, or severe storms
Epidemic, pandemic, or public health emergency declared by a competent authority
Fire, explosion, or destruction of the venue
Acts of God or acts of government, including curfews, section orders, or prohibitory orders
War, civil unrest, riots, or terrorist activity
Strikes, lockouts, or labour disputes affecting the venue or key service providers
Failure of essential utilities such as electricity or water supply at the venue
Any other event that is unforeseeable, unavoidable, and outside the Organiser’s control
What happens in a Force Majeure situation
If the Event is postponed due to a Force Majeure Event:
All purchased tickets will automatically remain valid for the rescheduled date. Attendees will be notified of the new date via email as soon as it is confirmed. No refunds will be issued in the case of postponement or rescheduling.
If the Event is cancelled entirely due to a Force Majeure Event:
All ticket sales are final and no refunds will be issued. The Organiser’s liability shall be strictly limited to making reasonable efforts to notify all registered attendees via email at the earliest possible opportunity. The Organiser shall bear no liability for any travel costs, accommodation expenses, loss of income, or any other direct or consequential losses incurred by the attendee.
If the Force Majeure Event affects only part of the Event:
The Organiser may proceed with the remainder of the programme. No refunds will be issued for affected or cancelled segments.
By purchasing a ticket, attendees acknowledge and accept that ticket sales are strictly non-refundable under all circumstances, including Force Majeure Events.
The Organiser will resume or reschedule the Event as soon as reasonably practicable once the Force Majeure Event has ceased or been resolved, where feasible.
